KBR Inc., the US LNG and energy engineering company, said it was awarded a front end engineering design (FEED) competition contract with South Korea’s Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering by Italy’s Eni for the Coral South Floating LNG project offshore Mozambique.

Alaska LNG, the project being developed by BP, ConocoPhilips, ExxonMobil, TransCanada and the state itself, has filed a preliminary draft resource report with regulators saying the plant will produce an initial 20 million tonnes per annum of LNG.
